So this story was in the NY Times style section yesterday (11/29) . I was a little upset upon first read because what I said was taken a little out of context. I really couldn’t care less if my photo was in Lastnigtsparty or not, real talk. I was being sarcastic as usual and it came back and bit me in the ass. But, come on, if anyone looks regular at the club it’s me!! Anyway, here’s the story.
Hey All,
I just wanted to send out a thank you to all of the people who helped out
with the Can I Live event for Tripe Crown. After the last community board
meeting we have been approved to transfer the liquor license to the buyer
and very soon (fingers crossed) we will be able to move on to the next
venture. The petition was a huge help and thanks so much to everyone who
took the time out to help us with this. Just to give you an idea of the
type of folks we were dealing with. When Myles got up to speak, this guy
Yelled "idiot!" This is one of the people who has been pretty
vocal against Triple Crown, just sayin…
Anyway, this Tuesday (11/27) only we’ve moved C.U. Next Tuesday to South Side Speak Easy in Williamsburg.
